Entry Details

One fraternity at a Southeastern Conference member university will win enough Lil Butcher Shoppe Smoked Sausage to serve up to 300 people at an eligible college-football tailgate.

Competition Period

Entries may be posted beginning at 12:00 a.m. Central Time on September 10, 2026.

The competition closes, and likes will be counted, at 9:00 a.m. Central Time on October 11, 2026.

Who May Enter

Entrants must:

  • Be at least 18 years old;
  • Be a legal resident of the 50 United States or District of Columbia;
  • Be a currently enrolled member of a recognized fraternity chapter at a current Southeastern Conference member university or Mississippi college; and
  • Be authorized to enter on behalf of the fraternity chapter identified in the entry.

Multiple members may enter on behalf of the same fraternity chapter, but likes from separate videos will not be combined.

How to Enter

  1. Create one original Instagram Reel or TikTok about Lil Butcher Shoppe Smoked Sausage.
  2. Make it creative. Comedy sketches, mock documentaries, movie trailers, hype videos, training montages and other original concepts are encouraged.
  3. Tag Lil Butcher Shoppe and include #LBSSausageBowl in the caption.
  4. Identify your fraternity chapter, university and preferred eligible home football game in the caption.
  5. Keep the account and entry public throughout the competition and until a winner has been confirmed.

If the same video is posted on both Instagram and TikTok, the video with the most likes will be considered the official entry. Likes from multiple platforms, duplicate posts or reposts will not be combined.

How to Win

The eligible official entry displaying the greatest number of verified, organic likes at 11:59 p.m. Central Time on October 10, 2026 will be named the potential winner.

Purchased, automated, fraudulent or artificially generated likes are prohibited. Paid boosting, paid advertising, engagement services, bots, incentive-for-like promotions and other attempts to manipulate engagement are also prohibited.

Organic sharing by fraternity members, alumni, friends and supporters is encouraged.

The Prize

The winning fraternity chapter will receive enough Lil Butcher Shoppe Smoked Sausage to provide approximately 300 standard servings at one eligible college-football tailgate.

Approximate prize details:

  • Quantity: 80 LBS of sausage
  • Available flavors: Pineapple, Sweetfire, Maple, Blueberry, 3 Cheese, Jalapeño & Cheddar, Original, Apple
  • Fulfillment method: Pickup or Shipping

The winning chapter’s requested game and tailgate date are subject to Sponsor approval, product availability, delivery logistics, university policies and applicable laws.

Cooking, catering, grills, fuel, serving equipment, buns, condiments, side dishes, beverages, staffing, permits, insurance, admission, transportation and other tailgate expenses are not included.

Official Rules

1. Sponsor

The Lil Butcher Shoppe Sausage Bowl (“Contest”) is sponsored by:

This Contest is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, the Southeastern Conference, NCAA, any participating university, any fraternity or national fraternity organization, Instagram, Meta or TikTok.

2. Agreement to the Rules

Participation constitutes the entrant’s complete agreement to these Official Rules and the Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest.

Receiving a prize is contingent upon compliance with these Official Rules and successful verification of the entrant and fraternity chapter.

3. Eligibility

The Contest is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and District of Columbia who:

  • Are at least 18 years old at the time of entry;
  • Are currently enrolled at a university that is a Southeastern Conference member as of September 10, 2026;
  • Are current members of a recognized fraternity chapter at that university; and
  • Have authorization to submit an entry identifying that chapter.

The Sponsor may require written verification from a chapter president, advisor or other authorized representative.

Employees, owners, officers and immediate family or household members of the Sponsor and its affiliated companies, agencies and Contest administrators are not eligible.

The Contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law.

4. Contest Period

The Contest begins at 12:00 a.m. Central Time on September 10, 2026, and ends at 11:59 p.m. Central Time on October 10, 2026 (“Contest Period”).

The Sponsor’s designated clock is the official timekeeping device.

Entries posted before or after the Contest Period are ineligible.

5. Entry Requirements

To enter, an eligible participant must:

  1. Create an original Instagram Reel or TikTok that clearly features, mentions or creatively centers on Lil Butcher Shoppe Smoked Sausage;
  2. Post the video publicly during the Contest Period;
  3. Tag Lil Butcher Shoppe
  4. Include #LBSSausageBowl
  5. Enable TikTok’s content-disclosure setting if entering through TikTok; and

One entry is permitted per individual. Multiple individuals may enter for the same chapter, but each entry will be evaluated separately and likes will not be combined.

6. Content Standards

Each entry must:

  • Be the entrant’s original work;
  • Feature only individuals who knowingly and voluntarily agreed to participate;
  • Contain truthful statements;
  • Avoid claiming personal experience with the product unless that experience is genuine;
  • Use music, images, footage, trademarks and other materials that the entrant has permission to use;
  • Comply with the applicable platform’s terms, community guidelines and commercial-content requirements; and
  • Comply with applicable university and fraternity policies.

Entries must not contain:

  • Hazing, coercion or humiliating treatment;
  • Dangerous stunts, reckless conduct or unsafe food handling;
  • Illegal activity;
  • Underage or irresponsible alcohol consumption;
  • Illegal drug use;
  • Nudity, sexually explicit material or obscene content;
  • Harassment, threats, discrimination or hate speech;
  • Defamatory or knowingly false statements;
  • Unauthorized copyrighted material;
  • Unauthorized SEC, NCAA, university or third-party trademarks;
  • Artificial intelligence content that violates applicable platform-labeling requirements; or
  • Material that could reasonably harm the Sponsor’s reputation.

The Sponsor may disqualify any entry it determines, in its sole discretion, violates these standards or is otherwise unsuitable.

7. Like Counting and Winner Determination

At or as close as reasonably practicable to 9:00 a.m. Central Time on October 10, 2026, the Sponsor will record the publicly displayed number of likes on each eligible official entry.

The eligible entry with the highest verified like count will be declared the potential winner.

The entrant must keep the account public and the like count visible until the winner is confirmed. The Sponsor may request screenshots, platform analytics or other information needed to verify the count.

The following are prohibited:

  • Purchased likes;
  • Bots or automated engagement;
  • Fake or duplicate accounts;
  • Paid advertisements or boosted posts;
  • Paid engagement services;
  • Offering compensation, prizes or incentives in exchange for likes;
  • Coordinated fraudulent engagement; and
  • Any conduct violating a platform’s fake-engagement rules.

Normal, unpaid promotion through chapter accounts, member accounts, alumni groups, personal messages and organic social sharing is permitted.

If the Sponsor identifies suspicious activity, it may investigate, exclude questionable likes or disqualify the entry. The Sponsor’s engagement-verification decisions are final.

Tiebreaker

If two or more eligible entries have the same verified like count, a Sponsor-selected panel will evaluate the tied entries according to:

  • Creativity and entertainment value: 50%
  • Originality: 25%
  • Connection to Lil Butcher Shoppe Smoked Sausage: 25%

The entry receiving the highest total score will be the potential winner.

8. Winner Verification

The potential winner will be contacted by direct message on or about October 11, 2026.

The entrant must respond within 48 hours and may be required to provide:

  • Proof of identity and age;
  • Proof of current enrollment;
  • Proof of fraternity membership;
  • Written confirmation from an authorized chapter officer or advisor;
  • Entry analytics;
  • An eligibility affidavit;
  • A publicity and liability release; and
  • Tax documentation, if applicable.

If the potential winner cannot be contacted by October 15th, 2026, fails to respond, cannot verify eligibility or violates these Official Rules, the Sponsor may select the eligible entry with the next-highest verified like count.

A participant is not an official winner until verification is complete.

9. Prize Conditions

One prize will be awarded to the fraternity chapter represented by the verified winning entry.

The prize consists of approximately 80 pounds of Lil Butcher Shoppe Smoked Sausage, estimated by the Sponsor to provide up to 300 standard servings.

The prize:

  • Has no cash value and may not be redeemed for cash;
  • May not be resold;
  • May not be transferred to another chapter or university without written approval;
  • Must be used at one Sponsor-approved eligible tailgate;
  • Is subject to the Sponsor’s fulfillment, delivery and food-safety requirements.

The Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.

The winning chapter is responsible for proper refrigeration, storage, preparation, cooking, service and compliance with package instructions, food-safety guidance, university rules, permits and applicable laws.

Recipients are responsible for reviewing ingredient and allergen information and communicating that information to guests.

All costs not expressly included in the prize are the responsibility of the winning chapter. All applicable taxes are the responsibility of the prize recipient.

10. Rights Granted by Entrants

Entrants retain ownership of their original content.

By entering, each entrant grants the Sponsor a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to reproduce, repost, publish, display, distribute, edit for length or format, and otherwise use the entry—as well as the entrant’s name, likeness, fraternity chapter and university identification—for Contest administration, winner announcements and Lil Butcher Shoppe advertising and promotional purposes in any media without additional compensation, notice or approval, except where prohibited by law.

Each entrant represents that:

  • The entry is original;
  • The entrant possesses all necessary permissions and releases;
  • Every identifiable participant agreed to appear;
  • No third-party rights are violated; and
  • The Sponsor’s permitted use will not violate any law or agreement.

The Sponsor is not required to use or repost any entry.

11. Publicity

Except where prohibited, acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor to use the winner’s name, likeness, chapter name, university and prize information for promotional purposes without additional compensation.

Use of a university, conference or fraternity name for identification does not imply that the organization sponsored or endorsed the Contest.

12. Release and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, Instagram, Meta, TikTok, the Southeastern Conference, NCAA, participating universities, fraternity organizations and each of their respective officers, employees, representatives and agents from claims arising from participation in the Contest or acceptance, possession, preparation or use of the prize.

This includes claims related to:

  • Technical failures;
  • Lost, late or misdirected entries;
  • Platform outages or display errors;
  • Inaccurate or delayed like counts;
  • Unauthorized account access;
  • Food preparation or service;
  • Allergic reactions;
  • Personal injury;
  • Property damage; or
  • Infringement caused by an entrant’s content.

Nothing in these Official Rules limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

13. Platform Release

By entering, each participant completely releases Instagram, Meta and TikTok from responsibility relating to the Contest.

The Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram, Meta or TikTok.

Entrants must comply with all applicable platform terms, community guidelines, intellectual-property rules, commercial-content policies and disclosure requirements.

14. Modification or Cancellation

The Sponsor may suspend, modify or cancel the Contest if fraud, technical problems, platform changes, unauthorized intervention, natural disaster or another circumstance outside the Sponsor’s reasonable control affects the fairness, security or administration of the Contest.

If the Contest is terminated early, the Sponsor may select a winner from eligible entries received before termination using the method it determines is fairest under the circumstances.
